Cloud Security Lead
Role Profile At FNZ we take security seriously, our growing of the security organisation reflects this. We are developing a class leading security function and are looking for passionate people to join our team.
We are looking for someone to lead our cloud security. Reporting directly to the CISO, this exciting opportunity will have a lead role in enhancing our the security of our systems across multiple cloud services.
The role and over time dedicated team will cover all areas of cloud security from secure design and threat modelling through to monitoring and protecting production systems.
You'll build close working relationships with multiple teams across the organisation to ensure our cloud deployments are appropriately secure.
Role Responsibilities
Creating and delivering our group wide cloud security strategy
Identifying solutions required to deliver the agreed strategy (while making the best use of 'native' solutions provided by our CSPs)
Assuring the security our cloud services
Ensuring we protect our systems, and customer data, hosted in the cloud
Creating and implementing our infrastructure security strategy
Design reviews
Threat modelling
Vulnerability management
Malware protection
System monitoring
Engaging with architects, engineers, and product teams across the organisation
Driving developer engagement and a culture of secure build and management of our systems
Managing relationships with key suppliers
Experience Required
Ideally performed a similar role
Able to work in extremely fast-paced environment, collaboratively, and autonomously
Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders with a strong focus on business outcomes
Worked with internationally distributed teams for a global organisation
Experience securing environments hosted in one or more of; AWS, GCP, Azure
Ideally has have experience in hybrid environments using both on premise data centres and cloud hosing, especially if going through transformation technically and in process terms
Ideally experience working across organisations that use Waterfall and more Agile / DevOps ways of working
Ideally experience working across organisations that use Waterfall and more Agile / DevOps ways of working
Ideally built and led high performing teams
Fintech/Financial Services sector experience desirable
An understanding of the UK platform market desirable
