Reporting to Associate Research Director based in London, this is an entry-level, but high growth role in a prestigious boutique market research firm with global coverage. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the financial services industry, at ease with manipulating large scale datasets and confident of their ability to effectively communicate at C-Suite level. It’s great if presenting well and communicating ideas clearly and concisely is a strength as Investment Trends is growing rapidly and team members have a great opportunity for direct client involvement with these skills.

Our research team will closely support you to nurture your professional skills development, allowing you to take responsibility early on, and providing opportunities through seminars, conferences, training courses and internal mentorship. You will also work with cutting edge technologies in advanced analytics.

What you will bring:

We are looking for a highly driven, independent and inquisitive individual with an analytic mind and a passion for presenting data driven insights. You have recently graduated with a degree in a quantitative discipline e.g.; commerce, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, computing or market research.

High academic performance (2.1 or higher) and the permanent and unrestricted right to work and remain in the UK are both essential to progress your application.

What you will be doing:

Working within a highly skilled team and surrounded by like-minded and dynamic individuals, you will be given responsibility for specific activities early on. The role includes:

  • Participate in survey design, learn to code online surveys, and manage timelines to meet research report objectives;
  • Use data analytics and visualisation tools to analyse trends, examine patterns, and draw insightful conclusions;
  • Develop industry knowledge and write key industry reports used by leading Australian, Asian, UK, European and US financial organisations;
  • Liaise with clients in Blue Chip international companies, and gain exposure and knowledge in client facing activities by attending presentations and industry conferences with Senior members of our Research Team.
