Operations Manager

The portfolio companies develop novel and transformative treatments for patients where there is significant unmet or underserved need. We are a small and friendly team based in newly renovated offices in the West End of London, with a high performing but supportive and collaborative culture.
As we grow we are now looking to add a new junior member to our team to assist in a finance an operational capacity:
Responsibilities:
- Weekly management of portfolio valuation and cash position
- Monthly management reporting
- Portfolio modelling
- Management of reserve estimation
- Bookkeeping and VAT
- Preparing monthly Board portfolio reports
- Control environment reporting & monitoring
- PDMR and FCA reporting for PLC and regulated fund
- National Storage Mechanism filings
- Gabriel returns
Experience Required
- 2 + years working within the investment sector ideally within a small to medium investment manager
- Experience working with and creating with financial models
- Relevant industry certifications or Degree educated in relevant field
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to interpret and communicate findings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write detailed investment reports and fund research notes; be highly numerate; be analytical and decisive and enjoy working in a small, close-knit and friendly team
Remuneration will consist of base salary and annual bonus. There is also a competitive benefits package of pension, health cover, life insurance, 25 days paid holiday and flexible working. Role will report to the CEO and Head of Finance.
