Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking dynamic and talented attorneys with 5-10 years of insurance defense litigation experience to join its Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice.



Candidates should have a strong litigation background, including proposing litigation strategy; communicating with clients and opposing counsel; drafting reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions; taking and defending depositions; arguing motions; and participating in mediations and trials. Excellent research, writing and communication skills as well as substantiative familiarity with the rules and procedures of the Florida Courts are required. The ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in the following areas: premises liability, motor vehicle, negligence including UM and UIM claims, negligent security, professional liability, wrongful death claims, subrogation, property damage and products liability.

Candidates must be admitted and good standing in Florida. Additional admissions in other states a plus.



Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus and benefits package offered. 1920-hour requirement. Attorney compensation ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 annually. Salary is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
