S&P Global Commodity Insights seeks an entry-level self-directed technical individual for the Engineering team. The candidate will gain real-world software engineering and platform development experience.

An ideal candidate will have passion for learning and exploring technologies, collaboration and creative problem-solving. The candidate will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership. They should be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Computer Science or Information Technology major
• Experience with popular programming languages like Java, .Net or Python
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in team setting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of data analysis patterns and activities
• Good understanding of business intelligence and analytics concepts
• General understanding of big data and processing

Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $85,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
