By utilizing the latest technology, these integral groups make sure our businesses are compliant, operationally efficient, and profitable.

We'll trust you to:

Review US Corporate International income tax provision under ASC 740, including effective tax rate, deferred tax account validations, return to accrual and journal entries during the quarter and year-end close process.

Specialize in US International Income taxes including inbound and outbound taxation.

Prepare/Review corporate tax filings including, federal and state income tax 1120-F returns, 5471's, estimated taxes and extensions, CbCR, 5471, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, etc.

Prepare/Review information required for Partnership Schedule K-2/K3's.

Prepare/Review specialized tax calculations such as GILTI, Subpart F, •163(j) limitation, Interest expense deduction according to •882-5, •987, •986(c), APB 23, DCL's, ATAD 2, FTC, BEAT, etc.

Manage tax planning scenarios and quantify tax impact on global tax positions including foreign tax credit optimization.

Manage and provide guidance to a direct report who prepares most of the analyses.

Provide necessary information with SOX 404 requirements, maintenance, and documentation.

Assist with special projects including but not limited to: tax basis balance sheets, E&P calculations, basis calculations, performance of complex allocations, tax technology and process transformation.

Be proficient in tax research using BNA, CCH, etc.

Respond to IRS notices and handle audits as necessary.

Liaise with Finance & Tax personnel, and Auditors to ensure proper completion and consistency of the U.S. GAAP tax provision and income tax returns.

You'll need to have:

Bachelor's in accounting; CPA and/or Master's degree in tax preferred but not mandatory.

Experience in public accounting and/or industry a plus but not mandatory.

Knowledge of withholding tax forms such as Form 1042 / Form 8804, etc.

Ability to articulate complex issues and themes to management and strong communication skillset.

Ability to operate and provide support in an extremely fast-paced complex tax environment.

Proficient knowledge of Excel & the ability to handle large volumes of data with accuracy.

Knowledge of OneSOURCE Income Tax and ONESOURCE Tax Provision a plus.)

Knowledge of UiPath or Alteryx a plus but not mandatory.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $170,000 - $190,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
