Ex-Goldman Sachs macro partner left hedge fund after 16 months
It's been a while since Stuart Riley left Goldman Sachs. Riley was a partner and head of London rates trading at the firm back in the day, before Citadel Securities started hiring all Goldman's top macro people. When Riley left Goldman Sachs 2015, it was for hedge fund Rokos Capital Management. Then he joined Tudor; now he's left again.

Riley only arrived at Tudor as a portfolio manager in February 2025. A regulatory filing says he stopped being a partner at the fund earlier this month. Riley didn't respond to a request to comment, but Tudor confirmed that he no longer works there now.
Riley is not going to Citadel Securities. Bloomberg reported on the Terminal that he is joining ARP Global Capital in Dubai as senior partner and deputy CIO. ARP is run by ex-Yusuf Alireza, the former co-head of Goldman Sachs in APAC. ARP hired a former Goldman Sachs and Barclays salesman, Rayan Al Sulaiman, as head of investor relations and business development in October, and may be planning more hires soon.
