Your new role
As a Senior Accountant/Supervisor, you'll work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver exceptional accounting and advisory services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns
- Reviewing BAS and FBT returns
- Analysing financial information to identify key tax issues and risks
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Preparing monthly management reports using tools like Spotlight Reporting
- Collaborating with clients and third-party advisors
- Contributing to internal process improvements and efficiency projects
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA qualification (completed or near completion)
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation
- Proficiency in Xero and cloud-based accounting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for client service
