ICT Project Manager (12-Month Contract)Opportunity SummaryAn established organisation is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to support the delivery of a portfolio of technology infrastructure and service transformation projects over a 12-month period.
The successful candidate will work within a broader project delivery function and be responsible for managing ICT workstreams across multiple concurrent capital and operational initiatives. These projects involve the planning, procurement, implementation, commissioning, and operational handover of technology solutions that support critical business operations.
The role requires a hands-on Project Manager capable of working across a broad range of ICT disciplines while coordinating internal stakeholders, vendors, consultants, contractors, and operational support teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent ICT projects from planning through to operational handover.
- Deliver infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology, and Microsoft ecosystem initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, action registers, issue logs, and risk registers.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities across internal teams, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Engage with operational, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings, and working groups.
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations.
- Support organisational change, training, and user readiness activities.
- Assist with the development of ICT specifications and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate vendors, system integrators, and external service providers.
- Monitor contractor performance and project deliverables.
- Support tender evaluations and contract administration activities.

- End-to-end ICT project delivery.
- Infrastructure and workplace technology projects.
- Microsoft technology environment projects including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Multi-vendor and contractor coordination.
- Risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Project governance and executive reporting.
- Stakeholder engagement across diverse business groups.
- Procurement and contract management.
- Microsoft cloud and digital workplace transformations.
- Capital works or infrastructure delivery environments.
- Technology commissioning and operational readiness activities.
- Network, communications, audiovisual, end-user technology, or infrastructure deployments.
- Experience working within highly regulated or service-critical environments.
- Identity, collaboration, security, or modern workplace initiatives leveraging Microsoft technologies.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving capability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader project team.
