Infrastructure Team Leader job | Melbourne | Hybrid Working | Permanent | ASAP Start Available Your new company

You will be a part of a collaborative IT division that is continuing to evolve, with a strong focus on innovation, service delivery, and cultural alignment.

Your new role
In this exciting role, you will:

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary infrastructure team across core systems and network operations.

Oversee the design, management, and evolution of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

Drive cloud migration initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost optimisation.

Provide technical leadership and guidance across infrastructure, networking, storage, and security domains.

Collaborate closely with project and applications teams to support major transformation programs, including ERP upgrades.

Oversee system performance, uptime, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities across the environment.

Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture while aligning the function with broader organisational values and goals.

Manage stakeholder relationships across business units and vendors, providing expert infrastructure advice and direction.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:

Proven experience leading infrastructure or technical teams within a complex environment.

Strong background across enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud platforms.

Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting cloud migration and transformation initiatives.

Ability to lead, mentor, and uplift technical teams, with a strong focus on communication and people leadership.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in ICT, cloud, or infrastructure technologies.
