Our Transaction Services Private Equity (TSPE) team combines deep experience in corporate transactions- from vendor due diligence to buy-side commercial due diligence with Simon-Kucher's leading expertise in commercial value creation, pricing, and go-to-market strategy. You'll work directly with PE investors and portfolio company management, building investment committee-ready materials that directly inform deal decisions.

How you will create an impact:
  • You will support leading mid- and large-cap private equity firms as well as strategic investors in the Nordics and internationally across the full M&A lifecycle.
  • In Nordic and international transaction projects - from vendor due diligence to buy-side commercial due diligence, you will apply your strategic thinking and develop creative problem-solving strategies under real deal timelines.
  • You will conduct market and competitive analyses, expert interviews, and quantitative and qualitative assessments.
  • For your analysis, use state-of-the-art research and analytical tools, applying proven methods from strategy consulting.
  • Together with your growing TSPE team, you will develop and present that contribute to client ready findings and directly shape our client's deal outcomes.

Your profile:
  • You have an outstanding academic record in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Business, Finance, Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), or a related field.
  • Previous practical experience in consulting, transaction services or private capital markets (e.g., Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking) demonstrated through internships/ working student positions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with financial modeling and market analysis
  • You are characterized by a high level of motivation, a conscientious and professional approach, and excellent communication skills.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working with different clients across the Nordics and internationally on a wide variety of transactions and industries.
  • Fluent English is required; Swedish language skills are a strong plus, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office.
