Our client is a leading financial services firm within the insurance/banking sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to support CDE project and data governance initiatives. This role will work closely with business users, data teams, and IT to drive project delivery and improve data quality and processes.
The Role
- Support data governance and Critical Data Element (CDE) projects
- Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements
- Draft workflow diagrams, process documentation, and functional specifications
- Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate UAT activities
- Liaise with stakeholders across business, IT, and data teams
- Assist in project implementation, process enhancement, and data quality improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related disciplines
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and project delivery
- Exposure to data-related projects such as data governance, data management, or reporting
- Experience in drafting workflows and test plans is essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English and Chinese
