Job Description
As a Senior Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, family offices, and other financial institutions.
- Drive sales and distribution of the firm's mutual fund products, with a focus on USD-denominated bond funds.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic sales plans to grow AUM.
- Collaborate with product, investment, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Represent the firm at industry events, roadshows, and client meetings across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Provide market insights and client feedback to internal stakeholders to support product development and strategy.
A successful Senior Business Development Manager should have:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, mutual fund sales, or institutional business development.
- Native Mandarin speaker with excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
- Deep understanding of asset management products and industry trends, especially in USD bond mutual funds.
- Strong institutional client network and proven ability to raise assets.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Bachelor's degree or above from a top-tier university:
- Mainland China: 985 Project universities
- Overseas: QS Top 100 universities
