Our client is expanding its product engineering team and is looking for an experienced Senior Gaming Developer to contribute to the design and optimization of game mechanics, player engagement models, and platform performance. This role offers the opportunity to work on data-driven gaming products in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Your new role

• Design and enhance game mechanics, progression systems, reward structures, and player engagement features.
• Conduct statistical analysis and simulation modelling to evaluate gameplay performance and balance.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Analytics teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain internal tools and frameworks to support game performance analysis and optimization.
• Analyze player behavior and game performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of scalable gaming platforms and next-generation interactive experiences.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience in game development, quantitative modelling, analytics, or related technical fields.
• Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
