Q2 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join the Leadership Team of the Service Delivery Centre of Excellence (CoE). As part of this role, you will contribute to delivering innovative digital banking solutions to our North American Banking & Financial Services Clientele.

The Technical Delivery Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the successful delivery of our digital banking solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in our delivery processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with a minimum of 12 years of hands-on technical experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of digital banking solutions.
• Define and implement best practices, standards, and processes for technical delivery, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, providing recommendations and insights to senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, with a proven track record of technical leadership.
• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership is a must have.
• Prior experience (hands-on experience will be an added advantage) with tools like Bit bucket, Jenkins, SQL, Nomad, Vault, Splunk, JIRA & Salesforce.
• A knack for identifying and implementing automation solutions, best practices, process improvement to drive efficiency.
• Proven experience building, mentoring and motivating high-performance teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels.
• A calm, diplomatic approach to problem-solving, especially under pressure.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and Agile methodologies.
• Background in Financial Services and enterprise software is a plus.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
