We are a FinTech company that provides global payment services with a focus on digital wallets. We are looking for someone to develop key payment channels in the Japanese market for our global client to serve local consumers and grow their local business. The role will also include business negotiations and payment channel connections with major credit card companies, convenience stores, digital wallet providers, and partner payment service providers in the market.

Main Job tasks:

• Develop major payment channels (credit card, convenience store, digital wallet, carrier payment, and BNPL) in the Japanese market.

• Establish business with major payment service providers in the Japanese market.

• Onboarding of global merchants and local Japanese merchants for payment channels

• Post-merchant launch payment quality control and marketing plan structure, including payment channels and partner companies.

Job Requirement

• In-depth understanding of the Japanese payment industry and working experience (experience with card companies, payment processing companies, and digital wallet companies preferred)

• Experience in business development, partner sales or merchant sales

• Experience working with large global merchant customers and major payment companies

• Experience in developing marketing plans for payment growth for major merchants.

• Language skills: Native level of Japanese, business conversational level of English or Chinese
