D365 Finance & Operations Project Manager

6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | £550-£600 per day

We're supporting a global organisation undergoing a significant ERP transformation and are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Project Manager to lead a complex international implementation programme.

This is a hands-on delivery role requiring an individual with proven experience managing large-scale D365 F&O deployments across multiple countries and business functions. You will be responsible for driving the programme from mobilisation through to go-live, ensuring successful delivery against scope, timelines, budget, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a D365 Finance & Operations implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, governance frameworks, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams across regions, functions, and third-party partners.
• Drive delivery accountability across internal teams and system integration partners.
• Provide regular programme reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution and deployment.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and navigate complex organisational environments.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations programmes from mobilisation through to go-live.
• Strong track record leading global, multi-country ERP deployments.
• Hands-on project management expertise, including governance, planning, risk management, budgeting, and delivery oversight.
• Experience working in partnership with system integrators and challenging where necessary to maintain delivery standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within complex, fast-paced transformation programmes.

Desirable Experience

• Retail sector experience.
• Experience delivering ERP programmes across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations functions.
• Exposure to global rollout programmes and multi-region deployments.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: Initial 6 months
• Day Rate: £550-£600 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
• Start: Immediate / ASAP
