DWF is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Associate or Senior Associate to join our nationally recognised Insurance Fraud team.

Working with major insurers and household-name clients, you'll handle complex, high-value fraud litigation, including fraudulent EL/PL claims, staged accidents, organised fraud rings and complex personal injury disputes.

The successful candidate can be based in any of our regional offices including Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester with the option of a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on complex and high-value fraud litigation, including fraudulent EL/PL claims, staged accidents, organised fraud rings and complex personal injury disputes.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to training and development.
• Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice.
• Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Insurance Fraud practice.
• Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

What will help you succeed in this role?

• Experience managing employers liability (EL), public liability (PL), catastrophic loss or casualty claims (claimant or defendant).
• A proven track record of running a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Commercial acumen and experience in delivering excellent client service.
• A proactive approach to file strategy, innovation, and cost management.
