Working Patterns and location - Fully on site
Key responsibilities
• Design, develop and execute testing activities across complex technology environments.
• Create and maintain test environments, test cases and test data to a high standard.
• Identify, investigate and manage defects through to resolution with engineering teams.
• Support integration, regression, functional and non-functional testing throughout delivery.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to boost delivery confidence.
• Assess quality risks and communicate appropriate mitigations to stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and promote engineering best practice across the team.
Skills & experience
• Experience in software and/or system integration testing or quality engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies and QA practices.
• Experience identifying, documenting and managing defects through to resolution.
• Ability to analyse problems, investigate issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and delivery teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
• Experience supporting or implementing automated testing approaches.
• Exposure to large-scale, mission-critical or highly assured technology environments.
• Understanding of integration and end-to-end testing practices.
• Knowledge of secure or regulated delivery environments.
• Experience contributing to process improvement or quality transformation initiatives.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues or supporting team capability development.
