The Ultimate Electrical Engineering Career Launch: Forensic Investigation

Are you ready to apply your technical skills to high-stakes forensic analysis? Robson Forensic is looking for an individual with a strong technical electrical engineering foundation who is driven by problem-solving. This Laboratory and Field Investigator role offers a rare entry point into forensic engineering, supporting elite testifying experts by testing and capturing the data of complex incidents.

Job Summary: The Laboratory and Field Investigator supports our testifying experts including mechanical, electrical and biomedical engineers and accident reconstructionists by installing, configuring and trouble-shooting vehicle mounted data acquisition equipment and sensors as well as handling test setup and teardown. This individual will also be responsible for performing scene documentation, photography, measurements, and Event Data Recording (EDR "Black Box") data extraction. This position combines hands-on electrical and mechanical test setup with advanced data acquisition, instrumentation and engineering-level analysis. This position offers a unique entry point for a new Engineer-In-Training (EIT). The position provides exceptional mentorship, skill development, case variety and a clear pathway toward accumulating the necessary experience satisfying the requirements for the Professional Engineering Exam.
