Market Data & Access Support Engineer - Associate or Vice President

Natixis is seeking a Market Data & Access Support Engineer to join the Global Market Risk (GMR) Business Support IT Monitoring team in New York. We are open to hiring at either the Associate level or the Vice President level, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

This hands-on technical role focuses on proactive monitoring, maintenance, and Level 2 production support for our market data platforms, including LSEG RTDS/TREP and Bloomberg B-PIPE, as well as our market access and electronic trading connectivity infrastructure. You will help maintain the availability and performance of these platforms and contribute to upgrades in collaboration with Head Office and local network and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Monitoring and Production Support

• Proactively monitor market data and access infrastructure using tools such as Geneos and Grafana to support high availability, low-latency connectivity, and reliability.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate performance and connectivity issues before they affect the business.
• Provide Level 2 support for market data and access platforms, resolving issues related to LSEG Refinitiv RTDS (formerly TREP), Bloomberg B-PIPE and Server APIs, and messaging systems such as TIBCO Rendezvous.
• Log, track, and manage production incidents and service requests in ServiceNow.
• Maintain clear, accurate support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.

Implementation, Maintenance, and Upgrades

• Plan and execute platform upgrades, routine maintenance, and requests to enable new business capabilities across market data and access platforms.
• Help align the Americas region's platform configurations and environments with Head Office market data and access infrastructure.
• Coordinate technical upgrades and maintenance activities with local and global infrastructure and network teams.
• Maintain and prioritize the technical backlog in Jira, tracking work and communicating status.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and procedures in Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical field.
• Relevant hands-on experience supporting market data and access platforms in a financial institution: typically 2-5 years for an Associate or 5-10 years for a Vice President.
• Strong understanding of leading market data technologies, including their design, engineering, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and practices.
• Experience with LSEG Refinitiv Real-Time Data Systems (RTDS, formerly TREP), TIBCO Rendezvous and Rendezvous Router, and Bloomberg systems, including the Terminal, APIs, Server APIs, and B-PIPE.
• Familiarity with market access systems such as Tradeweb, ION, or Fidessa.
• Experience with Windows 10 or 11, Windows Server, and Red Hat Linux.
• Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting; PowerShell and Python experience is a plus.
• General understanding of networking concepts, including basic firewall and routing principles, proxies, and multicast networking.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills when working with business stakeholders and support partners.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce thorough technical documentation.

ThesalaryrangeforthisattheAssociate-levelwillbebetween$110,000-$140,000.Natixisisrequiredbylawtoincludeareasonableestimateofthecompensationrangeforthisrole.Actualbasesalarywillvaryandwillbebasedonseveralfactorsincluding,butnotlimitedto,relevantexperience,education,skillsset,applicablelicensureandcertifications,andotherbusinessandorganizationalneeds.Basesalaryisonlyonecomponentofourtotalrewardspackage.Natixisalsooffersagenerousbenefitspackage,andyoumaybeeligibleforadiscretionaryincentiveawarddependingoncompanyandindividualperformance

ThesalaryrangeforthisattheVP-levelwillbebetween$140,000-$180,000.Natixisisrequiredbylawtoincludeareasonableestimateofthecompensationrangeforthisrole.Actualbasesalarywillvaryandwillbebasedonseveralfactorsincluding,butnotlimitedto,relevantexperience,education,skillsset,applicablelicensureandcertifications,andotherbusinessandorganizationalneeds.Basesalaryisonlyonecomponentofourtotalrewardspackage.Natixisalsooffersagenerousbenefitspackage,andyoumaybeeligibleforadiscretionaryincentiveawarddependingoncompanyandindividualperformance.
